Ayran or Fitness Drink à la Turkey?

That's my way:
500 g cold yogurt in a bowl, switch the mixer on and add cold water (as you like it thicker or thinner), fresh juice of 1/2 a lemon and a tiny bit of sour cream. The mixer is still going, 1 tbs. honey, a little iodized salt and one mushed banana. Now, fill  two glasses (take the foam as well) and garnish with 2 hand picked mint leaves.
Drink cold!

Foods for a Healthy, Vital Life

wild salmon, tea, turkey breast, nuts, linseed oil, soy, berries, broccoli, yogurt, oats, beans, natural rice, whole grain rye bread, olive oil, green tea, leafy green vegetables, peanut butter, water, high-grade margarine, fresh fruits, fresh salads, almonds

Ginger as a Fatkiller

what to do: peel a 3-4 cm long ginger root, cut in slices and douse with one liter of boiling water. Pour beverage into a thermos flask and drink during day.
A delicious modification for the summer: cool in fridge, then add some mint leaves, lemon and ice.

The Apple as a Powersnack

...morning snack: one cup of yogurt with one tablespoon oats, blend in one teaspoon full of honey and rasp half an apple on top.

The Good Ole Sandwich

...as a takeaway, it's healthy and simple. You can get it anywhere or prepare it yourself. For example: Rucola and smoked ham sandwich. Pumpernickel with cottage cheese and banana. Spelt bread with maple syrup and dried apricots or try rye bread with your favourite kind of pesto.

For the Summer --> Beetroot Salad

Toss 7.05 oz. of boiled and sliced beetroot in a bowl with 7 thin fillet-like slices of grapefruit. Mix 4 tablespoons Aceto (Italian style vinegar) with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and handful of raspberries and spread it on top. Add 4 pieces of stir fried Black Forest ham. Tastes excellent and is healthy!

On Hot Days...

...in the morning: mix 8.5 fl. oz. of soy milk with 3 tablespoons low fat quark. Add fresh lemon juice (half lemon) and 3 ground mint leaves. Drink instantly! Snack: pour some buttermilk in a bowl of blueberries, rasp in dried ginger, sweeten with a little honey and store in fridge till it's cool. Enjoy!

Avocado Snack:

Mash half of an avocado with lemon juice, pepper and salt. For the finish add some grapefruit jelly.

Small Dinner:

2.8 oz. roast beef - one sliced boiled egg - a little red pesto - one pickle, cut as well. Spread the pesto on one slice of whole grain bread, add the roast beef and garnish the sandwich with egg and pickle slices.
